Hello, all! New student to the real estate investment game from Parkersburg, WV. I am looking to connect with anyone interested in sharing thoughts and discussing REI, both locally and elsewhere. I have been reading books, listening to podcasts, and reading blog posts for a bit, and have set a goal of dipping my toes in to a BRRRR property by the end of the year. I have much to learn, but experience is the best teacher. Wish me luck!

Welcome to BiggerPockets, Eric!

I would love sharing thoughts with you especially about REI! Your starting point as a potential real estate investor is right here. All your questions can be answered in BiggerPockets site. In addition to the books, podcasts and blogs you have read, here are some tips I can initially give you:

1. Subscribe to the BiggerPockets Money and Rookie Podcasts

2. Attend the FREE WEBINARS

3. Attend a Meetup in Your Area

4. Purchase the Beginner Books: How to Invest in Real Estate, Set for Life, The House Hacking Strategy

5. Peruse the forums! Ask questions! Answer Questions!

Consistency is the key! If you are consistent with learning real estate over the next 4-6 months, you’ll be ready to purchase your first (or next) property in NO TIME!

Best regards,

Craig Curelop
