Hi everyone, my name is Andrew Lummus. I am 21 years old and I've lived in Texarkana my entire life. For as long as I can remember I've wanted make a career in real estate; well since I discovered that it was a safe way to create a residual income for myself. I am currently a delivery driver for a restaurant delivery service. Which is no where near my dreams of buying, selling, and owning property nationwide; with people working under me to ensure that it all runs smoothly. I know these are high ambitions for someone who has only read a few books about real estate.

Right now what I am interested in trying to find someone near Texarkana who would be willing to help me get in to wholesaling so that I may build the capital I need to accomplish this dream of mine.

A few ideas:
1.) You can do a search up at the top right of this page for whatever town you want, and if someone in your area is on BP, you can find out, send a colleague request, etc.

2.) Talk to some local Realtors and find out who the "big players" are in your town, in whatever type of investing you wanna get into. Realtors will know all the big guys, and they love making introductions.

3.) Set up some Keyword Alerts for some terms like " Texarkana" "Arkansas" and "AR" so when those terms are ever brought up in the BiggerPockets Forums, you'll receive an instant notification.
