I believe so, myself. But everything so far with him has been a test. He started on his own in business when he was young. He has decided to give me a lucrative line of credit to start a company and he is wanting this to be a hands off investment for him (which almost all of them do). I'm still in business planning/start up mode and this was just one of the many questions I have had come across my desk. It has been suggested that we do that but I was trying to see what I might be able to find before money was spent. Not trying to skip out on due diligence, just trying to be cost effective.

Hey BP,

I know it's been awhile since I've participated around here. Things have gotten very interesting for me and I'm gonna be in need of help quite often now. And fresh eyes haven't seemed to hurt since I've been working on structuring this deal for 5 months and my brain is getting fatigued.

As stated in the title, anyone know the best place where I can find the AR landlord-tenant laws? Preferably free and online. I've searched google and it has given me the basics but my investor wants me to find the actual law before my next presentation.

Ok, I'm not completely sure this is the correct place for this but I needed to share this small success with individuals who would appreciate it.

Yesterday I sent an email to a realty group that my Dad remembered from attempting to help my parents during their foreclosure process, which ended up being too little too late. That aside, my email basically stated that I was an aspiring real estate investor who was looking to network and build friendships with other investors in the area in attempt to gain knowledge and guidance from more experienced investors.

This morning, about an hour and a half ago, I received a phone call from the owner of the group and REI himself. The call ended with him agreeing to work with me in exchange for my time and permission to call him on his personal cell anytime for questions/advice/guidance. And that there were other REIs that he would introduce me to and help me network.

This has been the answer to prayers and hard work looking for others in my area.

So for those who are just starting, they're out there but you've got to put in the work to go find them because they aren't looking for you.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I don't know a whole lot about Ross Perot and his family. I guess that might be some good research to go do.

I am wanting to focus on single family homes mostly but that doesn't mean that I won't branch out into multi-family complexes or small commercial venues. Depends on the risk I would be in. As far as, the market here it seems slow if you follow the classifieds but I'm not networked in the right crowds here to be informed with up to date material.

Does anyone know how I might go about finding other real estate investors in the area so I might be able to find someone to trust enough to show the ropes hands on?

Hi everyone, my name is Andrew Lummus. I am 21 years old and I've lived in Texarkana my entire life. For as long as I can remember I've wanted make a career in real estate; well since I discovered that it was a safe way to create a residual income for myself. I am currently a delivery driver for a restaurant delivery service. Which is no where near my dreams of buying, selling, and owning property nationwide; with people working under me to ensure that it all runs smoothly. I know these are high ambitions for someone who has only read a few books about real estate.

Right now what I am interested in trying to find someone near Texarkana who would be willing to help me get in to wholesaling so that I may build the capital I need to accomplish this dream of mine.

Thanks for reading and a big hello from Txk,AR
