Hi, BP! I've been a resident of the Orlando area and Seminole County for my whole life. My husband and I are about 18 showings into our search for our first deal, locally of course--tough competition out there! Our plan is to BRRRR. I just finished the audio for the book on Rentals by @BrandonatBP and my 2 year old called it "The House Story". I teach high school and I have a background in graphic design, web design, and social media. Our goal doing is to retire early in Jacksonville.

@Alley Hassen Welcome! Good for you to be out there trying to make things happen. You are right that the competition is fierce right now in Orlando. The BRRRR strategy is awesome but it really is an advanced strategy that is very dependent on your ability to buy something below market value make the right repairs to get maximum ARV and rent and then refinance. You really need to know what the property will be worth after you fix it up or you will be stuck leaving your hard in cash in the deal when you got to refinance. I wish you all the best and I would encourage you to share your deal on here once you find it and get started.
