Getting Started in Real Estate

David Seaman
Posted

I am from Central New Jersey and would like to get into Real estate investing. My question is how do you find a mentor or a group of people who can kind of hold your hand the first few deals. Does anyone know of a group you can join that is for firstimers. I dont want to lose my shirt the first few times.

Hi David, I’m not sure which city you are in but check out meetup.com and look into some Real estate investing associations nearby. This is how I started networking with local investors, agents, lenders and contractors around the area.
