How to add value to your social network when you are a newbie?

Hi everyone!

I'm from Fresno, California and new to real estate investing. I believe that you always have to bring something to the table when doing business, but how can you do that when you're starting out? Even more important, when you're looking for a mentor/coach?

Thanks in advance for your advice and best regards!
