New investor from South Florida

Hello Bigger Pockets community! I’m a newbie investor living in South Florida. I discovered Bigger Pockets from Brandon’s Book on Rental Property Investing back around October 2019. I’m really excited to start investing and getting to know the community. So far all I’ve done is read, listen to podcasts and save my money. I decided my big goals for this year are to get my real estate license and buy a multi family to house hack. My plan is to take most of this year saving , getting my license, analyzing deals and gaining the confidence to get started. If there is anyone in South Florida near me, I’d love to hear from you and maybe go get a coffee sometime. I’m in the Fort Lauderdale area. I’d also love any advice on how to get my license. I know I can google it, but I’d love to hear some unbiased advice.
