New to RE investing - Looking for my first deal

Hey everyone! 

I'm James -

I'm new to real estate investing and looking for my first deal, and a tribe. Other than some money in Fundrise, I've never invested in real estate. 

I've been a serial entrepreneur with 1000 failures and a couple of successes. 1 exit when I was quite young, and looking at a small exit of a startup we started a couple of years ago in 2H 2020, through a go public transaction. (Cannabis industry).

VERY interested in using leverage to purchase cash-flowing properties that pay of the notes with there cashflows!

I'm really hoping to find some likeminded individuals to network with. I'm here in NYC, so hopefully, some of you are too!
