Newbie Investor Newark, North NJ, NYC metro
My name is Amir Jefferson (AJ) I'm a newbie 2 investing & BigPocks from upstate New York, blue-collar man, living in north New Jersey.. Interest are learning sub2, buy&hold, creative financing, indebth marketing, and have a full time R.E. biz in NJ & NYC metro.
I want to meet other members. Reading BigPock books is how I found u-all and I am loving the board thus far.
Tired of swapping 60 hours for dollars! #1 Biggest question is how/where to start while working full-time that's what I'm trying to figure on BigPocks? Any contact, welcome.
Enthusiastic learner: Interested in bringing value to a mentor/experienced investor(s). Want to be a contributing member of BP longterm, network, and soak up much of this valuable info to grow.

Amir, welcome to the forum! You've taken the hardest step--deciding! Sounds like you've also been educating yourself which is great. I'd personally recommend starting with a house-hack since that's a slightly lower risk way to get into real estate investing. Also, it will lower your expenses every month (IF you buy right) so you can save more for your next deal. Research house-hacking. I believe there are several BP episodes on just that subject. Good luck and keep taking DAILY actions, no matter how small.
