Active Duty Investing in Augusta, GA (Ft. Gordon)

We're an active duty family that just got surprise (1 year) orders to Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA.  2 adults, a toddler and a 65 lb dog. We're currently renters in Brooklyn, NY looking from afar and would love to connect with people on the ground.

We very much look forward to connecting with experienced investors/agents/managers/contractors in the area. We are looking to buy a SFH and do an extended BRRRR during our time in Augusta before heading (we think) up to the DC metro area.

I'll lay out the specifics of our situation and the plan that we're putting together (for comment), but I feel this might not be the correct forum. So for now, I guess I'm just saying hello!

Welcome to Augusta! You should definitely come to the local REIA and AORE events. I will post the meetings in the event section fairly often. The REIA group meets the second Thursday of the month and AORE is the second Saturday. Both are a great way to meet new people and learn a lot
