Hi! My name is Martín, and I'm new to Bigger Pockets. I currently live in Boston, which has really high real estate prices. Any tips or advice on investing in the Boston area? I've been looking into BRRRR or short term rental opportunities. I appreciate any input or good ideas :) Thank you so much!

Hey Martin! You can find BRRRRs in the outskirts of the city, approx 30-45 minutes away from Boston but prime city is not likely not to mention the high cost purchase. You can so STRs in most places especially if you are going to owner occupy a home or one of the unit. Apart from the Boston market, look into seasonal places such as Newburyport or Salem that would be good for still communicating to Boston but has high demand for STRs. These communities have long existing relationships with STRs and have conclusively plans and regulations as to how you will operate that business. Happy hunting and welcome to BP!
