Hello all,
My name is Tanya and I live south of Denver. By day, I am an IT project manager. I am fortunate in that I work from home most of the time.

I own 4 single family rentals. Three of them are in Aurora, CO, and one is in Scottsdale, AZ.

In the past, I have also owned some multi-units in Syracuse, NY (of all places). So with those, I was essentially a slum-lord, and I did not like it. I ended up basically breaking even on those when I got out - but it did come a cost of a quite a few grey hairs. So the best thing out of that experience was lessons learned.

My strategy is buy and hold, right now. With my houses in Aurora, they are all patio homes in the same HOA, and I've got to say that I love them. I feel like I have found a little goldmine in this particular neighborhood. I would love to buy more there, but I do worry about all my eggs in one basket, even if they are golden eggs.

My goal right now is to continue to use my cash-flow to buying more properties, with the long term goal of replacing my salary. I love my job, but I would love to become a full-time real estate investor. This big game of Monopoly is great fun for me!

Another area I am looking forward to moving forward with is starting a Mastermind Group for Women in Real Estate. I am thinking of focusing this on real estate investing.

Thank you.

Tanya
