Newbie real estate investor from Cape Town, South Africa

I am a Civil Engineer from Cape Town, South Africa with a keen eye for real estate investing. While a still considered a newbie and in my research phase, I am looking to get my feet wet with my first property before the end of 2019!

My immediate goal is to get started in Student rentals, since it's one of the few ways I see myself getting cash-flow out of a property in this economy. Once I get my feet wet with that, I will move onto apartment rentals (to small families and young professionals), and finally I am to work my way into investing in multifamily apartments.

I am looking to invest in Bellville (for student rentals) and Brackenfell (for multi families).

I am still in my research phase and in the process of going around to viewings trying to get my name out there to property managers and real estate agents but my aim is to purchase my first property in the next 90 days.
