North Jersey Newbie - Hello Everyone!

Good Afternoon everyone,

My name is Michael-Christopher. I'm a personal training studio owner and brand new to the real estate scene. Always had an interest, but never had the time to sit down and learn. So now's the time. Im interested in wholesaling and buy and hold investing for now. My interests may change, who knows, but for now that's my main area of interest. I live and work in north jersey right on the Hudson across from Manhattan, but my areas of interest are north jersey all the way down to Philly as far as REI is concerned.

I'd like to network with everyone in the area. So if there's meetings etc that you know about let me know and I'll be there. Looking forward to contributing and learning. Thanks everyone.

Peter Giardini Hey Peter! Thanks for that bit of information. It's definitely something im trying to be cautious of. HOA fees are crazy here. Sometimes more than the note on the property.

Nathan Emmert Nathan, buddy! I think you've been in Utah too long. Going a little menstrual on me there bud. The problem with short form communication is that you can't here vocal inflection. So, to make up for that we have to insert little things like "lol" etc to let the receiver know that you're just joking around or busting his chops. Reread my message thoroughly, with the same eyes that you scrutinize a potential real estate deal, and you'll understand that I was joking with you. (I literally said, "Im joking with you") lol. Am I sensitive, of course I am...Im a man, we all are. But do I have a tough skin, absolutely (Im from Philly born and raised, I have no choice) and was I bothered by someone welcoming me to the forum and offering me their perspective...of course not. Im new to this market so im out to learn and contribute all i can as my time allows. Do you not joke around with your fellow associates and friends? Of course you do. Same thing here.
