Brand new to real estate investing. I've been starting with some small investments in some crowdfunded sites such as Grounfloor while I get the capital together for my first deal.  I live in the DFW area and travel all over North Texas/LA/OK/AR for work so I have good exposure to different markets.  When I'm interested in something I throw myself into it fully and I am reading/listening/consuming everything I can about real estate at the moment.

I'm looking at my first major investment as a possible turnkey property but am open to other ideas. Hoping to be able to make my first big deal early 2020. Would love to connect with fellow Texans or anybody willing to share knowledge.

@Lucia Rushton  I have just a little in two deals that are deferred so haven't seen returns yet but I'm actually about to invest in one that is a monthly payment that closes in about two weeks so that should give me some better insight on how that process works!
