Hello! Looking to learn and grow our portfolio in Minnesota

Hello All!  My husband and I are fairly new investors seeking to buy and hold multi-family properties, particularly in the Twin Cities area.  We currently live in Hong Kong but spend our summers in Minnesota.  We’re striving to learn all we can about multi-family RE investing (finding good deals/property managers) and to buy our first multi-family rental property in the next few months.  Anyone interested in sharing tips for success and thoughts on the Minneapolis area?  We’d love to find knowledgeable folks who can share best practices with us.

Welcome @Sara Ring ! You're in the right place, so much collective knowledge here. One of the first steps I would recommend is talking with a lender or two about financing your first multi-family property. That way you can be ready to hit the ground running when you start looking since the best properties in this market go quickly. @Tim Swierczek is a great person to connect with to discuss financing options.
