Looking to connect with flippers/investors in Washington state

Hi all! So excited to join this awesome community. I am new to real estate investing and am currently working through "Long distance real estate investing" by David Greene and "rental property investing" by Brandon Turner to get some good general knowlege.

A main point I've come across in both these books is to surround yourself with people who are active in the real estate community.

I live in Seattle,WA (yes actually Seattle) and none of my current friends share my new found passion.

I would love to find people actively practicing in my area to build new relationships with.

If anyone is out there or anyone has any great tips for me to find these people that would be greatly appreciated. Rents and mortgages are high in this area so I am looking at Spokane for my first rental. I am looking to go the house hack 3.5% down route to fund my first duplex or triplex.

Anyone who has any insider knowledge on that area, or experience in the multi family route would be great to hear from as well!

Thanks in advance and have a great day!
