Hi everyone! Been here a few weeks now and figured I'd take the dive and throw out my introduction for everyone. My name is Joshua Duvall and I live in Los Angeles, Southern California, specifically the San Fernando Valley, SFV for short. Hopefully that hit enough keyword alters for everyone ;-).

I've only been interested in Real Estate investing for a couple of week, but it has been quite an intense information filled couple of weeks. I'm reading as many books as I can and have listened to over 26 of the BP podcasts, as well as watched many videos on YouTube. When I become interested in something I tend to immerse myself in it fully. I'm seeing that real estate is no exception for me.

I am highly motivated and am looking to retire within the next 10 years and be financially free. Once I am financially free, I want to literally feel free and get my pilot's license and my own plane and travel the world. I would also want to give back to the world and my community. I have no children to pass this on to, so I would like to give back and feel like I left my mark on this planet.

I learned about this world from my best friend, who is also interested in becoming a real estate investor.

Welcome to BP.  @Jeffrey Isenberg also has a great meetup in Sherman Oaks focused on Multifamily investments in SoCal.
