Newbie Ann Arbor, Mi, looking to invest, buy & flip, buy & hold

Hi, I'm an MBA day job whose hobby has been real estate for years for no purpose but I think its fun. I've been dragging my husband to open houses and finding "deals" and watching them sell and playing games in my head for years!   I truly had no idea we could become investors and recently had my eyes open - wide.  We are rescripting our future, and looking to invest, buy & flip, and buy & hold.  I live in a tight market.. just missed out on one great opportunity, considering others opportunities and markets while I'm eating up all the Podcasts and Webinairs and books in crafting our strategy.  I have to note I've gotten so much info out out Bigger Pockets education and have been doing deal analysis daily to build my skills and I'm so incredibly grateful for the tools and looking forward to my future in real estate!  Now I just have to walk through the fear of my first deal and make this happen...

check out the Ann Arbor REIA. They meet a couple times a month on Saturday mornings. It's a good place to meet other investors and they've got a several week-long educational program for new investors.
