Hi all,

My name is Forrest Owen and I'm from Northborough, MA. Over the past couple of months, I have been educating myself on real estate investing and my goal for 2019 is to purchase my first property. I didn't grow up in real estate and certainly haven't had a ton of exposure to it. When I was younger, my parents purchase a condo and my family fixed it up before renting it for 5 years and selling it.

I currently work outside of Boston, however I'm not sure I plan to invest in the area since the property values are so high. I've looked at investing in Raleigh, Nashville, Denver, and New Hampshire, however I haven't decided on one yet. I'm thinking that New Hampshire would be a good first one since it's close and I could learn within a close proximity of the property.

If anyone has any tips or advice on getting started, I'm all ears! I'm starting from very limited knowledge, however I'm eager to learn and looking forward to getting started!

Forrest

Hi Forrest, I've been buying and selling in NH since 2003 and would be happy to share what I've learned (good and bad) if you want to chat sometime. BP is a great resource for both connections and education, so you're off to a good start!  :)
