Hello Bigger Pockets community, 

My name is Jeff and I am currently living in and looking to invest in the greater Boise Idaho area, although it would seem to be a tough time to make good profit margins with the market the way it is in this area. I have been listening to the podcasts every chance I get absorbing as much information as I can. My girlfriend and I are looking to potentialy fix and flip a single family residence, I feel those investments suit me best with my background in construction. I look forward to all the great information shared here and will contribute where I can.

Hello Jeffery, welcome to BP! I'm in SW Boise, and feel the same way you do about the local market. We just need to find our niche. I'm also learning about investing out of state. Get in touch with @Jonna Weber and @StacyA McBain about local real estate investor meetups.

It looks like you're interested in flipping homes. Keep an eye out for homes on large lots so that you can split and sell the second lot or build a new construction on it.
