New to BP! & Real estate investing

Good afternoon guys, I am new to real estate investing and to bigger pockets. My question is this:

What can I do today to jumpstart my career with real estate. I don't have the capital to purchase a property, I have decent credit.

I've read somewhere that there are many different ways of earning money through real estate. As a newbie I feel overwhelmed with that idea, as it is real estate to me already seems complex. If anyone is or has been in my shoes, know that you are not alone! I am doing research on getting started but seem overwhelmed I am hoping I get a few responses to trigger some new insight of ideas for me!

Thanks in advance,

-David
