Just getting in to real estate

Hey everyone !

Figure I’ll give a little bio on myself.

I’m Ty Kuntz.

I’m 27, living in southern Indiana. Greensburg to be exact. I have an amazing 3 year old daughter, and another on the way with my girlfriend Stacia. Oh and our almost 1 year old pit bull haha.

Currently I work for a Buick/Chevrolet dealership as a Detailer. Hoping to move into sales eventually. I am also currently working towards getting my real estate license. I have just reached a point where the regular 9-5 income just isn’t cutting it. I want to have more for my kids, my future grandkids, and myself. I want to have the financial freedom to make a difference in my community. And I believe real estate is the only way to achieve that.

I’ve always had an interest in real estate but never really thought about it seriously. It seemed to me, to be something only people with money could get into, not people from a lower middle class family like myself. Now a whole new world has been exposed to me and I want to be a part of it.

My main interests are rentals, I’d really like to get into multifamily. I do have some experience in remodeling so fixing and flipping is also attractive to me. Most of what I know comes from podcasts I’ve heard and some internet research. I have talked to a couple of experienced investors and learned quite a bit from them. I’m super excited to make connections on here and learn even more. Any advice anyone has for someone with no experience, no money and no credit haha is extremely experienced.
