Hello everyone! I'm super stoked to be a part of the @BiggerPockets .com community! I'm Marcos Cerra. I currently reside in Scranton, PA and I am working on my way to becoming an investor in multifamily homes as well as being involved with a few other things in real estate

My father has been in real estate for as long as I can remember working on his own flips, rentals, and has even worked for the city remodeling homes in distress. Growing up working for him and watching these distressed homes turn into something amazing has made me fall in love with real estate. I am really excited to start making my way into real estate and making it a career.

I am somewhat involved with real estate now. I currently inspect properties for banks that own and have to maintain properties along with inspecting homes that are in default. I cover about 4 different counties and I absolutely love what I do right now. I get the opportunity to drive around all day (while listening to the BP podcast of course) looking at homes in all different parts of my area. I am truly grateful and blessed to be in this position as sometimes I get the opportunity to see probate and foreclosed properties before they hit even the market. It is an opportunity I want to take advantage of but I personally just haven't figured out a way how to capitalize on it yet!

In the meantime, I look forward to connecting with the BP community and reading your stories as I continue to learn and begin my journey in investing in real estate.
