Hello Bigger Pockets People!

My name is Casey! I'm originally from SLC, UT and I have been dancing around the real estate journey for many years. I have always been fond of architecture and character of buildings and homes of every culture and time period. During high school I fell in love with modern and contemporary buildings but when I joined the US Navy and saw most of the European coast, The Persian Gulf, and the Suez canal in Egypt, I fell in love with the architecture all over the world.

My real estate journey all started for me when a childhood friend of mine became a licensed realtor out of AZ. Shortly after he got involved, he reached out and told me that I was made for Real Estate and Real Estate was made for me. He went on to do huge things in real estate.

Now I've heard from many people throughout my journey that I would do well in real estate so I merely shrugged it off. I was not thinking that this is what successful people preach about when it comes to finding your calling.

Since then I had talked about being interested in getting into real estate but was waiting for the right "time." ( -___-) I picked up little things like negotiation tactics, wholesaling, book keeping, and business ownership, but there was a lot of fear about real estate. The usual misconceptions about cost of getting started, lawsuits, education , etc.

Two months ago a client of mine repeated those same words: "you would do so well in Real Estate!" so I caved. Was told to join bigger pockets several years ago but never did. Now was the time so I joined and discovered something in myself I wasn't prepared for.

I was made for Real Estate! Everything I learn. Every podcast I listen to. Each Webinar. Each Book I read. Everything I do that involves the words "Real Estate,"  Lights a fire inside of me so big I can't focus on anything else. It haunts my dreams! I can't sleep because I'm too hungry for more. It's all I can think about! Anytime I meet someone new, it's all I will talk about. I've reached a point where I am breaking through my fear barriers like never before. I can crunch the numbers and make decisions solely based on good/bad deals without emotion.

I'm ready to network, Jump in, and get started helping others.

My current goals are Multi Family Rental properties. The goal is 30 units in 3 years. 5 in the first, 10 in the second, and 15 in the third. I also follow the 10x rule so I'm pushing to get this done bigger and faster. I am looking to do BRRR, Turnkey, or house flipping. I love working in a team and will be building/joining one soon. I love getting quotes from contractors and crews. I love driving around looking for deals. I love negotiating. I love doing research and checking reviews. I love helping people and I believe strongly in paying it forward. I am excellent with people and I feel that these are my biggest strengths.

Hoping you all are having the best week and absolutely smashing it out there. I look forward to connecting with you!

Thanks for reading the novel,

Casey
