I'm excited to be introducing myself to the BiggerPockets community. I've been learning about real estate investing for the past few years. My goal here is to meet like minded people, and grow. My wife and I are ready more now than ever to go full steam ahead in getting me out of my Restaurant Management Job so we can work for ourselves and eventually create a lifestyle where our retirement is taken care of, and we can spend more time with our 2 kids and travel. I'm interested in Buy + Holds, Fix + Flips, + Wholesaling. I see the benefits in all, but don't plan on becoming an expert at each strategy......yet.

I just started the process in getting my real estate license. I'm taking my first real estate pre licensing class right now in the next hour! I see getting my real estate license as a tool to eventually leave my job, learn more about real estate, meet industry people, find future investments for myself. As an agent, I really want to get great at finding deals for other investors, and focus down on that.

We currently own a Triplex, which is our first and only investment property as of now. It needed a lot of TLC. My family lives in one of the units. Over the past 4 years we completely rehabbed the property. We've made a ton of mistakes and learned a lot of lessons along the way. We're fortunate that my wife had the foresight to see the potential our home, as we're still in a very good place with it.

I'd love to meet other investors in the area as well. I'll hopefully soon be joining our local REI.
