Mentorship and Advice on getting starting in investing Michigan

Hello my name is Jonne Washington, I’m 23 years old and I am looking to get started in real estate investing. I am looking for advice on how to get started and looking for mentorship in Michigan. I want to learn every aspect in the investing. I am going to my local real estate investors club in a few weeks and I have also read some books and a few online articles. Just looking to get my foot in the door. I work part time right now as a bank teller and I don’t have much money saved up. I also plan on getting my real estate license as well. I am looking to work and network with people as well. I plan to have my own brokerage in 5 years(hopefully) and also a property management company with my fiancée who is working in the construction field. I also plan on getting my interior design degree to go along with my future business plans as well. I’m looking to get started in how to make this a reality for me. As well as when I master this field I want to be able to help other people grow their business as well and help them with any questions they may have. I want to learn about wholesalong, lease options, rentals, flips and rehabs.

The first piece of advice would be to narrow your focus, if you try to do everything when first starting out you will end up doing nothing.  Pick one or two of the things you listed in your post and take concrete steps towards those goals, and write them down somewhere, this will help.  You can also ask more specific questions and get better advice from the BP community by doing this.
