Hello, my name is Tie Lasater...I’ve been listening to BiggerPockets podcasts for a while but I’m just now registering to the forum. My business partners and I (4 of us in total) have a real estate syndication (PPM) and yes we are each directly invested as well. I have been investing for 8 years. I started in SFH mainly fix and flips and moved towards multi family after gaining experience and education...lots of it. I now LOVE multi family. My partners each have different backgrounds and stories. We do however hold a mixture of multi family and residential (sorry Grant Cardone)...we have found a couple of markets that with the price point of acquisition in comparison to rent, we are getting 2% monthly rent so it makes sense for us. So that being said our portfolio we keep diversified but focusing on multi family across the US. I also have our business page linked to my profile.
