New, soon to be, investor/landlord in the Seattle/Bremerton area

Hello everyone, my name is Jacob Blattman and I am from Bremerton, WA. I am looking into getting into real estate rentals in a couple years. I am currently reading books and the forums here to get a better understanding of how to buy and manage rentals (the BRRRR strategy is my favorite). My fiancé and I are currently paying off our debt and should be debt free (besides mortgate) by 2020. That is when I would like to start investing. I would love any suggestions on books to read, how to finance the first rental, and any other amazing tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
