New Investor in South Atlanta Suburb

Tiffany Campbell
  • Hampton, GA
Posted

Hello BP community. My name is Tiffany Campbell. My husband Marc and I are new to real estate investing.  We currently live in Hampton, GA about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. My full time job is an educator but I am focused on turning that job in to take on investment full time. When I'm not working, I am mom to 3 children. Two of whom are in college and one toddler. These are the the top 3 reasons I've embarked on this journey with my husband.

Tiffany,

Great to hear about a family into real estate investing.  My family is always involved in all our projects.  I've had my kids as young as 7 helping me clean up old houses, getting them ready to rent.  I share all the financials with them, take them with me to check on our rental houses, share successes and mistakes so they can be better prepared.

Best of luck on your journey!

Chris

@Tiffany Campbell Welcome to BP. I am sure it is quite exciting for you to consider a shift from one career to another. Investment real estate is very exciting and I hope you have success. 1 bit of advice I have is do not put yourself in "analysis paralysis". It is very easy to keep consuming information and feeling like you never have learned enough. It can keep you from ever taking action.
