Texas Wannabe from Colorado

Hello All, (y'all)

I'm a CA native currently stuck in CO and looking to move back to the Ft. Worth area having lived there in the 80s. Yeah, I know it's hot there but it sure beats shoveling snow.

Formerly married to Mr. Handy and during the 90s rehabbed a fair number of houses, moved over a dozen times. GC'd a 4800 sq. ft house which was quite the learning experience and a profitable one.

I'm ready to jump back into the game. Current husband has no idea what he's in for! :D

Wow! Thanks for the big Texas welcome!

Mike M, I figure I'm down about 40K on our house and also plan on making it up (and more) on the other end.

Folks that live in southern Colorado claim it's the *real* Colorado and they are right. Beautiful terrain and nothing like Denver which could be any city in America except for the Front Range lurking nearby.

I'm looking to buy some new digs pretty soon and I guess I should post my idea in another area of the forum.

Looking forward to picking some brains and offering some help as well but I have a LOT to learn still.
