Hi, I'm Quinlan Canary and I don't have any background in real estate...yet. I'm from Miami, Florida but have recently relocated to Asheville, North Carolina. I am a traveling rope access technician and work mostly on wind turbines throughout the U.S. I found Bigger Pockets while I was randomly looking for a podcast to occupy my time as I drove across country and got hooked pretty instantaneously, listening to at least 10, back to back by the end of my drive!

My immediate goal in real estate is to buy a property, preferably duplex, triplex or quadplex in the Asheville area and start house hacking. I did accept the 90 day challenge from the recent webinar "How to Buy Your First (or Next) Rental Property in 90 Days or Less,"and am really hoping to accomplish that goal. My long term goal is to become financially free through real estate investments by the time I'm 30 and stop working for the "man," if not sooner (I'm currently 24).

I'm really excited to have found the Bigger Pockets community and am eager to open up some dialogues with seasoned investors and other rookies like myself!

Cheers!

Hey Quinlan, while I'm not new to real estate, I am new to the BP community as well. So, I guess we can begin our BP journey together. I recently (January 2017) relocated to Chattanooga with the acquisition of an established property management company. I would agree with the others in this post that the opportunity in Chattanooga is tremendous. If I can ever be a resource for you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
