South Florida Newbie

Hi all!

My name is Daniella Paez and I am from Sunny South Florida - particularly Broward County between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. I am newer to the real estate investing side of things although I am a homeowner and have been a landlord before also. I am interested in learning more about wholesaling to generate cash flow, and buy and holds particularly in the mobile/manufactured homes niche.

I have been on the fence of hiring a very credible mentor, however after reading the few chapters of the intro of Bigger Pockets, I am not quite sure what I should do. My time is very limited with my full-time job, and feel it might be best if I have all the information in one place and a resource along the way. I've studied enough and have listened to enough podcasts to understand the general idea around wholesaling but feel I lack the step-by-step way to go about it and simply, the push to getting started (it can feel like you don't know "enough" to be "ready" to get started, you know?). What have your experiences been getting started on your own? And those who have used a mentor? Curious to hear!

I'm excited to dive more into this site as a resource & attend a Bigger Pockets meet up on Saturday to learn more. Hopefully the combination will help me feel I'm going in the right direction to finally feel comfortable enough to get started and take a first step!

Glad to be here and look forward to networking!

-Daniella
