First Timer Crossing the Point of No Return!!!

Today's a great day. It marks a turning point where there's no going back. I've bought in... literally. I've purchased my Listsource list of 1007 names to be exact; 1000 stamps; 1000 envelopes; 1000 sheets of yellow lined paper; enough ink to print all my letters and envelopes. There is NO GOING BACK!

With the help of @Jerry Puckett I tracked the top 6 zips in my county for investor activity and used his criteria to target my list.

I plan to start out by sending 100 letters to gauge the response and make sure I'm able to handle the calls. If too few, I'll ratchet it up some. Of course there are still some questions I have and I feel like I'm missing certain pieces of the process but I do feel I'm at a point where it's time to take action, so here we go!

I definitely looked into the postcards first for that very reason and just couldn't make the numbers work with the budget I had. I've gotta get it out the mud this first go round but I definitely do want to move into postcards. Good looking out, love your style

 Ha, welcome man.

But...

how is it possible that the budget wouldn't work for postcards?

postcards color both sides are 47 cents printed and sent/card.

but but but...

consider this.

direct marketing is not an expense. It is an investment.

And I will not bother you after this message, but check this..

Writing your info on a brick, drive by houses and through that brick through their windows will give you a 100% respose rate. no no really.. do it. really try it. ^_^

But that doesnt mean you will make deals that way.

See what I am getting at?

if for every 100 letters you sent you get 1 response, vs. for every 30 cards you sent you get 7 responses.. which is the better ROI?

It is not about how much budget you have....

And still back to my first point... post cards are WAY cheaper than sending in letters

But ok ok ok I am done pressuring you.

Let us know how it goes.

If you have a funky foreign accent like I do...

expect people to be REALLY pissed at you, and "go back to Italy where you are from".

Yeah, some douche said that to me.. Italy? wtfreck?!

you know what?

Congrats on thinking on your own though.

If your gut says this is what you should do... good on you to not just blindly listen to me

(although... I think  my logic is solid... so it wouldn't realllllly be blindly ey?)

:)
