Hello from a Military Spouse!

I am a stay at home dad while my wife works as a nurse for the US Army. I was previously a firefighter/EMT for 10 years before following my wife all over the place as a military spouse. We have a 3 year old boy and 9 month old girl. Needless to say I don’t sleep much.

Experience:

We have some limited experience in real estate. We purchased our first home in Killeen, TX in 2011 and have rented it out for 7 years. We have two homes in Bozeman, MT that have been rented out for 7 years as well and are currently living near Fort Carson in Colorado Springs where we will be renting out our primary residence in 5 months when we move to San Diego for a 2 yr assignment. Also my wife and her sister from Denver have partnered on 3 six-plexes, a duplex, and one crappy single family home in Great Falls. All are cash flowing so that is nice.

Real Estate Goals:

We are currently striving to continue buying real estate for passive income through the buy and hold strategy while my wife finishes her Army career over the next 9 years. 

We are really looking forward to continue our learning in regards to landlording, real estate deals, and growing our portfolio. So far I read and listen to everything associated with bigger pockets. I am addicted.

@Regen Place awesome start in real estate. Nice to have some others to work in the business together. If you stay on track, in 9 years you will be a wealthy family.
