Hello Investor community!

Hello BP community, my name is Sean P Haggerty, I’m not new to this site but just upgraded to Pro and thought I’d introduce myself.

Career background. Currently in the medical field which gives me a nice earning but clearly not the end all be all of my financial plan. I’m living in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida and will be relocating my job (J-ust ab-O-ve B-roke) to Raleigh North Carolina along with several weeks working in my home town of Key West Florida. But North Carolina is where I plan to begin my journey to Financial Freedom.

Where am I at as far as my education?

So far since the middle of Jan I’ve read:

1) Rich Dad, Poor Dad

2) The Millionaire RE investor

3) The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs

4)Getting things done by David Allen

5) RE with no or low money down

6) Multifamily Millions

1 BP podcast every morning, I scour the BP forums and YouTube vids. I am now analyzing slowly 5 homes in my free time in the Wake County area, yet nonstop checking Redfin, Trulia, Realtor, Zillow. Joined TRIEA (Triangle RE investment  Association) and will attend as many meeting as possible.

Right now with all the info I’ve been absorbing I’m becoming fearful of getting bit by the “Paralysis by Analysis” zombie. My plan is to make moves when something meets my criteria and hopefully get my first deal.

What route am I going to take to build my RE investment portfolio? Not sure yet. In a perfect world my virgin purchase would be a duplex-quad, one unit of which I will live in until I can secure my second deal. Buy and Hold, BRRRR is what I'm most interested in. Eventually moving on to larger cash flow commercial multiplexes.

By year 10 I want out of the medical field with a solid Portfolio. Focus completely on RE investing, weather that’s physical properties, notes, lending of capital.  Hope to hear from you guys in the future, stay in touch, and have a great day... if you want to that is ;)

Cheers, Sean Patrick Haggerty
