Hello everyone, My name is Tarissa Fleming. I am new to BiggerPockets & also quite new to this wild world of real estate as well. About 5 months ago I officially took the leap on starting my path to building a successful real estate company. In that time I have completed getting my company; Golden Knight Property Solutions, officially registered with the state & IRS, website & bank account. All while studying as much real estate knowledge as I possibly could & working a full time job as well. I work as an engine dispatcher for a large railroad company. I feel as if I am beyond ready to get out there & really start doing to work to get my first deal whether it be from wholesaling or rehabbing. I feel like I could learn even better by just getting the experience more than I could just reading & studying anything real estate related that I can get my hands on. I am located in the state of Connecticut & looking to network & connect with other likeminded individuals. As well as hopefully build some amazing business connections with realtors, brokers, contractors, HML’s & others along the way. I know to build a great real estate business it takes a network of even greater people. My main goal is finding my first deal as said before either by wholesale or rehab & just continuing from there. Until I can progress into buy & holds & maybe even commercial real estate. The end goal is to own multiple rental properties & even becoming a hard money lender. I have one property that I currently own as a rental. But I’m having a little bit of a hard time getting started with the next step of actually wholesaling & rehabbing, especially because I’m currently doing this without a partner so for now it’s just me doing everything. But I definitely want to get it all started. All advice & comments are welcomed & appreciated! Thank you for reading my post. & If you would like to connect feel free to reach out! ~Tarissa

Hello and welcome to BP,

there is an enormous amount of resources here for anyone in the real estate investment business, whether seasoned, newbie or novice. take your time and fully explore the site. they have been making plenty of upgrades over the past year or so that make the site a bit more user friendly...anyway, be sure to enter keywords and key phrases on your profile page, so that you're put on email notice whenever someone mentions housing markets and other r.e. particulars  that you're involved in or that you're interested in learning more about. this is just one of many very cool tools here on BP. feel free to interact on threads, share your thoughts, knowledge and enjoy. If you need help from someone in tech support or a moderator just reach out to them as the response time is usually pretty quick, in my experience. happy hunting and prosperity to you.

Kudos,

Mary
