Newbie from Metro Atlanta

Hello all, just wanted to jump on here for a quick intro. I am a newbie obviously and looking to learn as much as I can before taking on my first investment. I'm thinking rental property is the road I'm looking down but not sure yet. Also interested in possible flips. Not sure if the market favors flips in the Atlanta area or not. Maybe some locals on here can advise. I am currently employed at a local Airline 30 years. Looking for the next step after retirement. Which is about 10 more years down the road.
