Hello my name is Richard and I am a newbie when it comes to investing in commercial real estate. I live in Los Angeles County, CA in the San Fernando Valley. My goal is to achieve financial freedom by producing cash flow from rental properties. I want to start investing in multi-family units with the buy and hold strategy. I am open to investing in other commercial investments, but I first want to get my feet wet by specialize in multi-family properties. My short-term goal is to buy my first property in the next 6 to 12 months. My mid-term goal is to build my real estate portfolio up until I can run my own Real Estate Investment company full time. Long-term goal have a multiple streams of positive cash flow for my retirement, so I can enjoy traveling with my wife in our golden years. Lastly, I want to build something I can pass down to my kids and grandkids.

Real estate investing has always been a life goal and passion of mine. It has taken me awhile to get the courage to jump in.

I am in the education & networking phase. I have been reading tons of books on real estate investing and watching BP podcast for the past several months. Recently I started lurking on BP forums and this week I decided to setup a profile and start networking.

Wow what a great resource and community. I look forward to meeting you all and helping others where and when I can. I might not have a lot of real estate investing knowledge, but I have a 18 years of SEO knowledge with 10 years in Real Estate.

Super excited to join the community!

-Richard
