Hi guys. I am currently a senior college, and want to invest in real estate as soon as I am done with school.By the time I get out of school, I will owe about 20,000 in student debt (including interest). I have a good amount of money saved (7,000 to be exact. Do I use this money to invest in real estate or should I use it to pay off my loans?

I have more of a Dave Ramsey philosophy of clearing your debt first. Especially since its low and you have a decent amount of money already saved up to clear them. How long would it take for you to clear the remaining 13K with a full time job? 6 months? 1 year? The real estate market is also nearing the top so delaying by those few months might result in a better deal when the market cools.

Also what is your interest rate on your student loans? If its above 5%, I say definitely go and clear that debt first.
