Hey everyone! My name is Simon Hernandez and my wife Katie and I have finally decided to take the plunge headfirst into the wonderful world of real estate. We are originally from Texas but now live and work in the California Bay Area. As anyone that lives out here knows, the work commutes are hell. However, my wife and I turned it into Bigger Pockets Podcast time and it's made the drive a breeze, so thanks! We are definitely novices but have a couple of deals under our belt and are ready to give it a go using the modest resources we have available. We envision a mix of BRRRR, flips and buy/hold depending on the market. Our broad target area of operation is the midwest (Memphis, KC, Indianapolis type cities) although We'd also like to connect with an investor friendly agent in Corpus Christi, where we've got a potential lead on a property. Of course, we'll also begin putting a team together in one these midwest cities to start. Still doing a little more research on which market to begin with. Some of you guys/gals might be hearing from us sooner than later! We might be open to a partnership if our visions align, so if any of y'all would like to know more about us, let me know.
