Hi. I'm Steve Hoyler from Queens, NY. I am new to real estate and am finding that New York is very price prohibitive. I am open to other markets but figuring where to start seems daunting. I have some ideas but seem to want to stay within driving distance. I have a long history in the construction industry so I am not scared to take on rehabs as I've built houses from scratch in the past. Financially I am in a position to need a partner but feel my knowledge can offset the financial need. I hope to hear from you. Thanks.

@Steven Hoyler

Welcome to BP!

I agree NYC can be a difficult market to invest in because of the capital required.

You may need to look upstate NY, PA, NJ, CT, MA if you are looking to invest nearby with a lower entry point.

Are you attending any of the real estate networking events in NYC?
