Hello From Los Gatos, CA
Just joined BP, for a couple of reasons. I am venturing into the commercial market, as the owner of the building my business is in wants to sell it - See my other post in "Make Deals....." I am also interested in getting into residental/vacation home properties, as they are very depressed right now, and feel there is some very big upside in the next few years.

Hi Steve welcome to BP.
Sounds like you are looking to hold property for a period of time. Do you have specific areas of the country that you are looking in?
It also sounds like you are just getting started. As some one new to investing you might want to start with residential properties. Are you looking at vacation properties in resort areas? You will probably find that any rents would be more seasonal and you would certainly want to factor that into a purchase price.
