Starting Investor in Ontario, Canada

Hello everyone!

I must start with out great this community is. There is an absolute wealth of information and it's exciting to be able to learn from so many people.

But as for myself, my wife and I are just getting started in Real Estate by having a deal with a family member where the down payment and closing costs are covered for us, and we'll be house hacking to help cover the costs. One of the main reasons is we want to get experience as landlords to be able to grow from here and work into a stronger portfolio. And after getting that deal settled, we're now in the process of looking for a multi-family home in London, Ontario. We're very much looking forward to it!

I am also looking forward to meeting other Bigger Pockets members so we can share information and help each other to continue our growth in Real Estate. And if anyone is in southern Ontario, please give us a shout!
