Newbie Investor in SoCal Looking to Learn

Alexander San

Hi Everyone,

My name is Alex and I'm a new born when it comes to RE investing.  I'm currently working in Irvine as a Scientist for a medical device company and renting in Lake Forest area.  I went to school at UCI and been working since I graduated in 2013.

I'm mainly interested in house hacking, but since I don't have a lot of funds for a down payment right now I'm skeptical about when I can get into the market.  I'm mainly looking for advice, to hear about anyone's experiences in investing in the SoCal market, any lessons learned  and to being a sponge and learning as much as I can.  I'm really excited about learning more about RE investing and how I can use it reach financial freedom.  I want to be able to hit a point where I can work out of want instead of need.
