Hi everyone, my name's Bisi from Glen Burnie, Maryland. I'm new to biggerpockets as well as the real estate business. Although I've only been in the business for a few months, I feel like a fish in water lol. I love the experience so far. I got my training from fortune builders, after which I started my own company. I initially worked voluntarily with a senior friend (who has now moved out of state) already in the business just so I could learn the ropes cos I believe in practical learning. This helped a great deal & I was able to work on 2 wholesale deals.

Now that I'm totally on my own I just thought it would be smart to join a network of like minded professionals who have been in the business for a while & have them share their wisdom & experiences, cos I believe 'the quality of life you live depends on what you know'. I intend to ask a lot of questions on this forum, not because I'm afraid (trust me I'm not) but because I want to minimize my mistakes as much as possible and maximize my results!

My main goal is to create multiple channels of active and passive income from real estate but for starters I'm looking at focusing on wholesaling alone, I'm not sure I should combine flipping with it cos they say you make a lot more money from fixing & flipping but as a new comer, is it ok to do both or should I just take it one at a time?

Thanks everyone!

@Olabisi Adebayo Welcome to BP! There are no one path for your investment goals. If you feel like you can handle it. There is nothing wrong with going into flips but be very wary of the numbers, location etc. Please do your due diligence!
