Some Guy in Corpus Christi, TX

Hello Community,

I've been lurking for a about a month now and I figured it was time to come out of the shadows.  For starters I live in Corpus Christi, TX (home of High insurance and Higher Property Taxes) and I would like to slowly invest in rentals in this area.

So for the quick and dirty, I currently work two jobs (around 60-70 hours a week) and I'm tired of it.  (My nugget from "Rich dad Poor Dad" is the piece where he speaks about how working hard does not = More Wealth)

My Wife and I are currently rehabbing a a home we plan on selling within the next couple of months, so that we can buy a multiplex to house hack ( I know Ground Breaking) but I believe this is the fastest way for me to quit one of my jobs.

I love the Forum, I love the Podcast, I've got a million questions I need to post, so thanks in advance for all of the awesome FREE advise!!
