New to wholesaling but not real estate

Hi! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a newbie to wholesaling but not a newbie to real estate. I've been licensed in CA since 2001 and been in selling real estate since 2006. I live and work in San Diego. I've always been curious how wholesaling works and even took a class back in 2010 but forgot mostly everything. I'd like to get into the game of wholesaling as well as start investing in rental properties myself. Nice to meet everyone!! :-))

@Alexandra Germon Well I am not a RE agent, but I've heard many REI ponder the question, "Why don't more agents invest?" It's a commonly asked question that Robert Kiyosaki loves to attack. They should be investors. Especially since they have an inside track, but many of them lack the foundation in their financial intelligence to make that leap. You obviously see the advantages now, and from all people, your hair stylist. Haha. Oh the irony. You would think agents within your circles would be the source of such knowledge. I'm in the same boat as you... I would love to start buying as many doors as I can. So, I've spent the last year reading, listening, and networking and I look to do my first partnership as soon as I find a good deal. SD is a tough market. It almost feels like we are the last miners in the gold rush to show up. But, there are still nuggets you need to just build your niche, and be really good at it.
