Newbie from Miami, FL!
Hey guys,
I just moved back to my hometown of Miami, FL after a decade in NYC. I'm looking to make my first real estate investment here, possibly a 4-8 unit multiplex to either live in or completely rent out. I have no experience in real estate (besides REITS) but have been playing with the stock market for years and eventually my curiosity lead me to real estate investing books and brought me HERE to BP!
As of this post, I'm taking my 63 hour Florida Real Estate Sales License course next week for access to MLS and for some insight, and am signing up for a few real estate investment courses (general, foreclosures) at Miami Dade College to further my knowledge and network.
I have some money saved up for this new venture, not a whole lot, but hoping to get creative!
I look forward to meeting and interacting with the great members of BP and LEARNING LEARNING LEARNING.
