Looking for any & all investors from Australia (WA Preferred)

Hello everybody!

My name is Daragh McGough, currently in my final year of university studying Marketing & Finance. Working full time at the moment as a sales consultant/team leader with a marketing company in Perth, WA.

I've been an avid listener to the BP podcast for a few months now, I read an extensive amount of books on property investment, cash management, stocks etc. (Most recently, Set For Life - By Scott Trench - Give it a read it's fantastic). With this I would consider myself to have a relatively solid base of knowledge when it comes to investments, specifically property.

However, the majority of content that I read is based from within the US (works by their laws, markets and taxes etc.) so I was thinking it might be a good time to start networking with some Aussies! I'm really interested in networking, learning and just developing my skills further, with my overall goal being the owner of a large property portfolio with exponential growth.

I think it could be really advantageous to start building a community of Australians from within the community to work together and learn from one another (there may pottentially already be a group of this sort, if so my appolagies)

So with the formalities out of the way, AUSSIES SPEAK UP!

Daragh

Hi Daragh,
Welcome to  BP! I currently reside in LA but am from Perth. I've been living in the US for the last 13 or so years, and most of my focus has been on investing state-side. Just wanted to throw in my support and curious to see what kind of responses you get. Would like to see what are local Aussie's thoughts on the RE market in Australia.
